Batik Designer Emil Kawina Mjema
Eazy - as his friends call him - lives and works in Dar-es-Salaam,
Tansania
He specialises in making hand dyed batik textiles. He designs his own patterns
and combines these with beautiful brilliant shining colours.
So every single piece of batik is a unique work of art. From these fabrics
Eazy also handsews
useful things for everyday use such as table cloths, napkins, shirts,dresses
and kangas. 
Eazy also creates inspiring collages on canvas using his batiks and combining them with drawings of wild animals.
Once a year he spends some time with his artist friend and supporter Xenia Marita Riebe in Germany. Here he shows his work on exhibitions throughout the country.
